The Golden Star Library¨ consists of 12 titles that were published in the United States,
in 1967 by the Golden Press¨. The set contains four titles from Walt Disney Productions; Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, and
Snow White. Size: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" x 13/16"; 256 pages not
counting the front and back covers. Each book is numbered in the left top
corner of the front cover and in a gold star on the spine. Each book has a
59¢ price printed in a 5-pointed gold star in the top right corner of the
front cover, and back the cover contains a brief synopsis of the book's
contents. The spines have a light blue background with 5-pointed gold stars
and white title blocks.

COLLECTORS NOTE: GOLD STAR LIBRARY¨ Similar books were
published in Great Britain, Germany, France and Italy. The French,
Italian and German versions have red spines. The Great Britain versions,
Golden Pleasure Books¨-London, were published between 1966 and 1970. Four(4) of the
titles are the same as the Gold Star Library¨ editions, but most are different. Size: 3 3/4" (95mm) x
5" (127mm) x 13/16"; 254 pages not counting the front and back
covers. The books are not numbered and the price 2'6 is printed on the lower
left corner of the inside front cover. Each back cover contains a brief
synopsis of the book's contents. The spines have a dark blue background
with a single 10-pointed star located above the title block. Two printings
have been reported. The publisher's logo and star on the spine are white on
the first printing and gold on the second printing. The full range of these
books has not been defined. Some English versions have been found with red
